DIY

Shorts, the perfect way of Upcycling. The concept and goal of Upcycling is to prevent wasting potentially useful materials by making use of existing ones.
"Recycling is great but it requires energy and resources to collect, sort and process unwanted items and waste.
Upcycling is an even greener way of recycling – you find a new purpose for your unwanted items before you chuck them away..."
Words from this site
Well, I am not a handy man myself, but a pair of jeans shorts is not that hard to make.

ROADTRIP ENGLAND AND THE BOTELET

This summer we go to the south of England. We'll be traveling along the coast towards the Land's End. Then we'll make a detour to this place- Tamblyn Botelet
'A few miles west of Liskeard in Cornwall, enjoys the sort of lush rural setting I thought only existed in Enid Blyton books.  In fact this is Daphne du Maurier country, and Botelet Farm, hidden at the end of a narrow lane amid 250 acres of rolling farmland, has been the Tamblyn family home since 1861'

STRIPES FOR LIFE

Sailor stripes, a Classic.
Always fashionable and timeless...

Coco Chanel in the 1930's, Audrey Tatou playing Chanel in the movie Coco Avant Chanel, and Audrey Hepburn from the 1960's

OPEN SESAME

"Open Sesame" is a magical phrase in the story of "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves" in One thousand and one nights. There are many theories about the origin of the phrase. Indeed, it is not certain that the word "sesame" actually refers to the sesame plant or seed. However, I've opened my eyes to sesame seeds. The seeds are rich in minerals and vitamin E. Eat them on everything and leave the shell on- since the shell obtains greater proportion of iron and calcium.
You can find both black and white sesame seeds - both are delicious.

TODAY'S CLASSICS

My old pair of converse and Filippa K summer jacket

TWO MISSIONS

I had two missions. One is completed. The second... I still work on it. Well, to walk my talk I planted herbs on my balcony. However, I have not yet bought a helmet.

CLASSICS

Some things never loose style. Some things are timeless. I call them  "classics"- and they are another way of smart consumption.

LESS IS MORE

“Less is more”, a phrase from a poem or just a phrase adopted by architects as a precept for minimalist design. To be Sable, “less is more” is the core of every aspect of life. We focus only on necessary elements and like things to be simple.

WALK THE TALK

"YOU CAN TALK THE WALK - CAN YOU WALK THE TALK"
This is my attempt to walk the talk. In other words, to back up what I say with my actions.

I want to be Sable
Sustain-able
Smile-able
Like-able
Prudent-able
Dur-able
